Got a Kyocera Torino phone on 8/5/2011 for $29 plus tax and $45 plan. The phone had VERY low volume and I did not hear it ring or the alarm go off even with highest sound setting. There are few ring tones to choose from as well. I get ads that pop up on the phone, you can't get a phone call when on web, and I seem to miss calls when the phone is right next to me. I also have issues when I call someone. Every time I call someone, they say I sound like I am in a tunnel or under water and I hear my voice echo. When they call back, this is fine. I have NOT used 1:14:45 minutes on the phone in 2 days because I work 60 hours a week, have only had the phone 2 days, and haven't been able to talk to anyone because of the connection issues. I use my business phone for calls now. When I went to the store for a refund (within 7 days as it says) they said that I was over 60 minutes and will NOT give me a refund. I explained that was not possible and they don't care. I also explained that the phone is horrible and why AND about the service issues when calling someone. I am a guest relations manager at a hotel. We HATE bad reviews and do whatever it takes to make the customer happy; NOT Metro PCS . I am going back to T-mobile and selling this phone with the free 30 day service included on Craigslist.

I would like to add that, after looking at my phone after a call that went to busy signal, this company counts the 3 seconds on the phone as part of the 60 min return policy. This means that even if you only had the phone for one day and got a whole bunch of busy signals or someone's voice mail; the company will count that against the 60 min phone use policy. They will not take a phone back on their 7-day, "no questions asked" return policy if the phone shows more that 60 min of phone use. This is NOT fair! I only had the phone two days and DID NOT talk to people for 60 min. They could have looked at each call in and out and see that it was not talk time. Most companies do not count a busy signal or something like that against the user for minutes used; only actual talk time. This means all calls I made that just RANG and got no answer were counted against me because each showed 3 seconds or so. WTH!!!!
