Like the title says,no tech support,i have been calling mpcs quite a bit in the last few days because they throttled my 4g data on the promotional $55 unlimited plan down to 100 kbps,less than dial up on todays web,they said i was one of 5% of excessive users,THAT'S WHY I GOT UNLIMITED soo i could use it EXCESSIVELY !!! there should be noo such thing as excessive on an "unlimited" plan.soo with virtually no data,IDOL HANDS right,boredom set in and i started to call them with various issues i started to notice with the phone,my plan and their policies.My first issue was obviously,the limit on my unlimited plan.they told me to do all sorts of things like reboot the phone,reprogram the phone and reset the phone.before doing all these things to no result.i explained to them the text message i got from mpcs stating they'd be throttling my speed,because i'm an excessive user.still they wasted all this TIME.than i notice that when i call SOMETIMES it goes into an automated deal that says "you can say things like,pay my bill.what's my ballance? suck a donkey nut.or representative.well when i chose the option to say what's my balance,it tells me im on the 40.00 lg plan and my bill of 55.00 is due such and such.now i don't have any extra services,and it's not like i think,i'm on the 40 dollar plan because i used waaay more than 2.5 g's.but why does it say this ? at the same time my data has been throttled.when i asked them about this they had no answer the bollytard on the other end just asked if i wanted to change my plan.second and foremost issue i asked for tech support,first i was told,that they were tech support even though they were unable to answer technical questions relating to the hardware and software of my handset/computer,because that's what they are,housing more hardware than laptops and having substantial power.once they actually FORWARDED my call to samsung,i have the coolpad quattro.when i asked for tech support from the second to last rep i spoke to gave me the number for sonys experia support which is a competitor or comparible to the coolpad quattro,in other words these products are competing on the market and she actually gave me their number.the last rep i spoke to,i asked how to go about adding more ram to the coolpad or perhaps upgrading to a better processor.and she told me she would check my account to see if she could add more ram TO MY PLAN,if you follow what i'm talking about,than you know that's retarted and i was constantly hung up on or call dropped ???...but for the price you can't beat it,i was getting 10 meggs a sec.and got throttled after like 40 giggs and that's a crap load.soo for 55.00 a month not bad ohh yeah and other companies throttle excessive users too the difference may or may not be tech support from other msp's customer service and honesty goes a long way,if you like being lied to go for it and pray you never get a virus.but for a company that sells pocket computers their tech support "DOES NOT EXIST" in fact when i finally got a rep to admit it those were her exact words.
